The 1.7 oz tube that I have is not really that big, and for the amount I used on my dry legs and arms its not going to last that long.
On opening the tube I found that the cream is actually very thick, nice though and soothing when rubbing it into my skin. It had a pleasant scent to it but I couldn?t quite put my finger on what it was, maybe citrus lemon.

I bought mine from duty free at East Midlands Airport, costing me £16.49 and the young lady providing me assistance wrongly assumed it was for my girlfriend!! Brownie points were quite evidently beamed in my direction as the young lady serving me thought ? "what a nice young gentleman, thinking of his girlfriend and buying her a present on the outbound journey". Actually, she was probably thinking about knocking off and getting down the pub with her mates, but that's inconsequential.

8 hour cream is one of those products beauty editors bleat about in magazines as being a "cult product."
Having tried other "cult" products which were a waste of money ,I was sceptial when I purchased my 50ml tube of 8 hour cream from my local department store.
I needen't have worried. I use other Elizabeth Arden products which have given great results (Extreme Conditioning cream is a great moisturiser). After handing over my hard earnerd £18 the sales rep from Elizabeth Arden gave me a leaflet explaining just how many uses this product has.
I had learnt (from a beauty therapist friend) many years ago that putting a thin layer of Vaseline on your face at night means you wake up with baby soft skin. 8 hour cream has the same consistenecy/texture as Vaselie but smells nicer and has a few extra pampering ingredients.
