...Yes it`s true, another horse review. Well horses have incredibly large wardrobes. Is there any end to their requirements (or me putting my hand in my pocket)?. Brushing boots are boots that help prevent injury when the horse brushes. Brushing is caused by either conformation, when the legs are close together, they may rub together every now and again. Or, young horses may brush sometimes as they are unbalanced generally when they are young. Horses may be more likely to brush when doing fast work, or work on uneven ground. They may even brush when they are running around the field. Whilst some horses are more prone to brushing than others, most will have a slight injury at one time due to knocking themself with their own leg. ...I came upon Oster products at Horsesense Saddlers in Solihull, they seem to have any new products on the market! Im a big fan of both my horses sales!! One is a very long straight white tail and the other is a typical grey horse's tail grey and black! I love in the summer doing nothing more than washing their tails and making them look lovely! Many of you may think this is sad!! However they both have very thick tails and it takes so long to comb through their tale and im afraid I am not one of those owners who use a hairbrucsh on my horse! I bought an oster brush (quite expensive) in the original blue and grey colour. I used it the next day on both horses and I was amazed at how easy it was to get the brush through the tail. ...I have two ponies, both of whom wear a pair of Bioflow Brushing Boots. I initially purchased a pair for my 18 year old Welsh Cob, who suffers from arthritis in her fetlocks. When the boots arrived, they came in a handy drawstring bag, which I use to wash them in (they go in the washing machine). They also had an instruction booklet with details of how long they can be worn for and how to clean them. They only come in one colour- black, but I think this is the most practical anyway. The styling is not the most modern, but it is practical and they do look good. The boots are very sturdy. I opted for the brushing boots as my ponies live out and I thought these would be more practical.
