Disadvantages: A little expensive for beginners

...Two of my friends recently purchased Hot Buttered body boards and they are extremely happy. One at £90 and one at £80 seems a bit expensive but they have definitely noticed the difference. The boards are lighter, easier to turn and do tricks on. They are both Terminator T3s 10-90 (43”) and are Hot Buttered’s proven performers over three summers. The crescent shaped tail allows more control and acceleration through turns. The shape, build and weight also means more straight-line speed and thus more waves! The T3 also has the HB PE Diamond Core, apparently revolutionary in body board technology. See below for the science bit! This is a brilliant board, the difference is there and you will not be disappointed with the performance of the T3. ...The short game is recognised by nearly all golfers at were you shot low rounds. And being able to average under 2 putts a hoel can dramatically lower your score for a round. Hence why I decided not to be shy on splashing out on the most expensive putter. I tried out Taylormades new Monza but came to the decision that the White Hot aligning system would really improve those nerve breaking 5 foot putts. It did! And since i bought the putter I have been holing putts from almost everywhere. However, it does take a while to get to used to the soft insert behind the putters face. It works extremely well on face greens giving you that required feel that you need. And we all know that to improve your overall game you want to play on good, quick solid greens. Advantages: Keeps you warm, dries quickly .
Disadvantages: Uncomforable seams, can be too warm .

...The Tactical Series undergear from 5.11 is designed to be worn under body armour, to keep the wearer cool, dry and comfortable. I purchased a top to use as a base layer when wearing a rucksack. Most of the 5.11 Tactical Series undergear comes in what they call 'muscle mapping' style i.e. tight. As I don't really want a t-shirt 'mapping' my beer-belly, I went for the crew loose fit version, to leave a bit more to the imagination. # 5.11 claim these will keep you cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold - I have found this t-shirt to keep me warm when it is cold and roasting hot when it is warm! In warm or hot weather, I just have to take it off as it is too hot, but in cool/cold weather, it is a brilliant warm base layer.
