Advantages: Classic good looks and affordable rag-top fun Disadvantages: Leak-prone hood
Having just sold my 1990 "Lotus Racing Green" Lotus Elan S1, I thought I'd share my experience of owing this ground-breaking car.
The Lotus brief was a two-seater roadster that would appeal to the American market. With this in mind, it's easy to see why the cabin appears so spacious - American's don't like to be cramped!
The windscreen is shallow-angled and you get the feeling of being in a much larger car as the dashboard stetches away in front of you. The driving position is "proper sportscar", low slung but extremely comfortable - the drivers seat on some examples can benefit from minor TLC having been subjected to ten years or more of use.
The comforting smell of fibreglass as you enter the cabin is one common to all Lotus', but on particularly damp days, can be overridden by the gentle waft of damp carpet!
I've never met ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Lotus Elan
Advantages: really loud will blow the house down! Disadvantages: far from the greatness of the early techno, house days of the prodigy.
The Prodigy is one of Britains biggest electronic acts, they began with a 10 track demo wich was put together by Liam Howlett on a sequencer keyboard, this was then released way back in 1991. Since then they went on to release the techno - rave orientated albums The Prodigy Experience (1992) ,Music For The Jilted Generation (1994) and The Fat Of The Land (1997) which had more of an electronica and dance feeling to it.
Finally in 2004 they then released their new album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned which fans had been waiting for a long time and as with nearly all of their previous albums this one also represents a distinct stage in Prodigy's musical develepmont.
Unlike their early albums which were more techno and rave and The Fat Of The Land which was more big beat and electronica and dance, Always Outnumbered, Never ...
Advantages: It's the Prodigy. Can be danced to. Upbeat feel. Disadvantages: A little predictable. Too many weak tracks.
The Prodigy are a band that have been famous since the early 90's particularly with the release of their singles 'Charly' and 'Everybody in the Place'.
Since then, a number of albums have been released, each one pushing the envelope a little further and each one having at least a couple of very strong tracks in them. Their latest offering is 'Invaders must Die'.
From the lead track, taking the same title as the album, this album sounds very much the same as older albums. There is nothing pushing new envelopes here.
Invaders must Die: This track has a catchy tune to it, but it is quite repetative and predictable. It is probably still one of the better songs on the album, however. A deep bass line and a Prodigy feeling with some of the synth sounds coming straight from older tracks.
Omen: This has been released as a single and is ...
PRODIGY, that's a name! no doubt it's the best freestyle quality price ratio on the market. Sharing the same shape as the ARTEC 4.2 it features a new blunt tip & tail design. Inspite of it's mid-price, don't underestimate it's skills in park they're unlimited!!
