Element decks are bordering over-average

Advantages: Light, Good pop.
Disadvantages: Weak, easy to chip

I bought an Element deck off my friend when I just started getting in to skating. It was fairly new and had no chips or major damage. Well I had had it for about a week and it was thinning down quite fast at the tail. After I had been using it for around 2 weeks, It started getting chipped. Each time it chipped bad I would grind it down so it wouldn't lift up. Therefore it started losing its pop. The last straw for me was when I attempted a hardflip and it landed on the tail and lifted up a Huge piece of the tail (about half). I decided to sell it to my other friend and buy a new board. I wouldn't suggest these decks to a Skater with a Hardcore style, It would be fine for little ledges and drops. Probably alright with bowl, miniramp skating. But if you Ollie big sets of stairs and stuff, I wouldn't recommend this deck for you. ...

Review of Element Thriftwood Level Skateboard Deck

Element hit the nail on the head!

Advantages: Good pop, durability high.
Disadvantages: Price can be high.

With superb finish, stylistic graphics and a key durability element are showing their passion is great decks. They are sturdy, light enough and great for begginer and pro alike. The graphics are very modern and in my opinion the company/deck good street credibility world wide. A sensible buy and great for begginer and pro alike. My deck is 8 months old and still going strong, only light chipping on tail from failing manuals. Not a problem recomending anything by this company. This deck is another testament in my opinion that Element are still producing skate decks of renound quality and style. The only real draw back is the sometimes high price many retailers ask the shopper for which i believe corrolates to the manufacturers higher stock price. A good buy you wont regret. ...

Review of Element Expressions Thriftwood Deck

enuff skateboard deck, tough enuff?

Advantages: good price, good pop, enuff is a cool brand
Disadvantages: not as durable and as well lasting as i had hoped

this is not a bad deck at all its meets all the criteria of being a good skate board, good pop, cool graphic and a nice shape, but i found the way that enuff boards are made seem that they dont last quite as long as other brands. personally i dont really like enuff boards that much they feel too diffferent to what i am used to but im sure there are alot of people who would very much enjoy the enuff shape and alot of my freinds say this is true. i recommend this deck for people new to skateboarding or people on a tight budget, the price of enuff decks is definitly a plus. good up and coming brand tho id expect they will just get better and better. ...
