Advantages: easy to use, weight just falls off and body tones Disadvantages: takes ages to assemble
...Those of you with Sky TV have probably come across Tony Little on the Best Direct shopping channel. Quite simply, the guy is mental. He is short, with long curly hair and he is extremely fit. If you watch him for too long he will drive you insane. He is surrounded by gorgeous models showing you how easy this can be! The adverts also feature "real" people who have gone from fat to thin and unfit to fit!
We watched his adverts several times and then decided to go for it and buy a Gazelle. We bought the Gazelle Freestyle Elite as it takes a heavier weightload and also has power pistons with 3 settings for different levels of endurance. Myself and my partner are both around 20 stone and did not wish to take a risk on the smaller model as the Gazelle Freestyle XL only takes up to 18 stone. The frame on that model is not so sturdy...

Advantages: Ready when you are, no embarrasment of the gym Disadvantages: Bit heavy to move about, may need motivation, annoying video
...I've tried going to the gym...and I failed. I could never seem to find the motivation to go and when I was there I found excuses to leave. During my 9 or-so months membership at the gym I did enjoy using the Cross Trainer machine and wished I had one of my own. I happened across the shopping channels one day and saw Tony Little advertising his Gazelle Freestyle and shouting (literally) about how great it is. I had to admit that it did look easy, but then these things always do!!
So off I went in search of a Gazelle. I was loathed to spend the £15 P&P charge from the TV shop so I had a look on Ebay and was pleased to find that the same...

Advantages: really good fun Disadvantages: heavy to move about
...Those of you who kindly read and rate my opinions will know by now I am on a diet (I have lost about fifty stones on and off over the years) I have had a treadmill for a couple of years now but found it a bit heavy going on my knees. I am in my senior years now (so they tell me LOL)
I watch the shopping channels on sky and I have seen TONY LITTLE and the Gazelle Platinum Freestyle advertised often .It is usually about £130 plus p&p
I always thought this was a bit expensive for me as none of us are employed and we have to watch the pennies
I was watching QVC a couple of weeks ago and they had on a special offer Yes! The Gazelle Platinum With a video and for only £110. plus p&p I though t about it and discussed it with Jim my hubby ,then I sent away for it and within about five days it arrived
It is really heavy...

I am not really a gadgets person if I am honest, the simpler the better for me. I am not going to sit down and read a manual to find out how something works. I like to plug it in, press an on button and away we go.
I was in desperate need of a new... more
