Endura
Are a young Scottish company founded in 1992. According to their blurb, they were founded by Jim McFarlane, who after having his cycle gear stolen in Sydney was disappointed with the range of kit. When he returned to Scotland he decided to start manufacturing his own. The MT500 range was where they started out, and now claim to be the largest cycle clothing manufacturer in the UK.
Bibshorts?
They have several advantages over standard lycra shorts. First off the shoulder straps stop the shorts and the padded insert from moving around, thereby preventing plumbers bum crack. They also keep your back covered if your shirt rides up. Bibshorts also eliminate the problems caused by elasticated waistbands in standard shorts, which can dig in and also act as a sweat magnet.

Advantages: Strong, safe, very protective and extremely comfortable Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
My experience of the Coolmax Shinguards is a little different from most people's as I never actually wear them for football because I don't play! Hopefully this review will still be useful though.

where the Endura Humvee 3/4 trousers/shorts come into play. So they may have a stupid name, but they manage to keep my knees warm while riding, and I've ever found the need to indulge in a specific winter cycling trouser with these in the wardrobe. Coming in either black or khaki there's a choice for any taste (well, okay, maybe just a black or khaki taste) and there are pockets galore for storing 'stuff'. Because they're cut specifically for cycling all of these pockets are in places that mean if you were carrying, say, a bunch of keys they wouldn't be digging in, or sitting somewhere that tightens too much with the cycling action.
They seem pretty well made as well. I wear them every single day for commuting, as well as for mountain biking, and even for a couple of 100 mile rides. Comfort has never been an issue, and nothing has ever ...
