This DVD is surely a must have for any rugby fan, it's unique behind the scenes look at the preparation of the Englandrugby squad in their training and international matches in the run up to thier succesfull 2003 World Cup campaign. It truly delivers in it's title 'Inside EnglandRugby' in that you really feel that you are there with the team, through one of the greatest seasons in English rugby history. Though the story does end quite abruptly shortly before their first match of the World Cup Campaign, the amount of game footage which includes highlights of the six nations grand slam and victories over the tri nations teams. Formerly sited in Shustoke (a village on the Eastern outer fringes of Birmingham), adjacent to the Griffin pub, the Church End Microbrewery moved to Ridge Lane, a village on the edge of Atherstone, a few miles away. What is Rugby League.
Rugby League is a sport that has its roots actually in football history although neither sport bear any resemblance to what we know them as today. Way back in the early days of the sport it was called football and this was played in schools, although each school seemed to have their own version of the rules. There where 2 versions of the game, the handling of the ball and the kicking game (19th century). These 2 versions later became know as the Football Association and the Rugby Football Union.
