Stayed here for a week at Easter 2009. Easy journey (about 25mins) by taxi from the totally new Paphos airport terminal (huge improvement on the old one). Greeted by porter who immediately took charge of our luggage. Reception very friendly and professional, we were installed in our room withinin 5 mins.
Room had the requested pool/sea view and was generally very comfortable with very large double bed. Small balcony, well shielded from neigbours on each side with full height wall. Room had obviously had a minor refurb and was very clean, with new bathroom hardware, but tiles etc still looked a little tired.
Public areas were very smart, with marble staircase down to lower sitting area overlooking the sea. Outdoor pool was cold, due to the time of year, but surprisingly large indoor pool, fully equipped gym and spa were available. Pool ...

A song of escape or the possibility of escape, from a difficult situation but also, potentially, from the tyranny of the humdrum and everyday. The vaguely “Western” scenario with the very English vocals in the chorus (provided by Linda) and the inspired sparring between the electric guitar, dulcimer and accordion makes for a very strong introduction indeed.
“The Calvary Cross” some superb guitar work and passionate singing from Thompson here (he has a greater vocal) range than he is sometimes given credit for) in a dark, ominous song. Not clear if the cross is to be taken literally ...

This DVD is surely a must have for any rugby fan, it's unique behind the scenes look at the preparation of the Englandrugby squad in their training and international matches in the run up to thier succesfull 2003 World Cup campaign. It truly delivers in it's title 'Inside EnglandRugby' in that you really feel that you are there with the team, through one of the greatest seasons in English rugby history. Though the story does end quite abruptly shortly before their first match of the World Cup Campaign, the amount of game footage which includes highlights of the six nations grand slam and victories over the tri nations teams. As Clive Woodward says ''it's our story'' and whith this DVD you truly feel a part of that. ...
