I have used several different types of printer in my time, my first being an Epson and my last being an Epson. I had something else in the middle but got another Epson pretty quickly. I use something different at work sometimes but really like Epson printers best.
When we first bought our computer I wanted one with a good printer and digital camera so that I could print my own photos, several hundred pounds ... ...Another good thing with Epson is it has a USB connection so can be easily attatched to a different computer.
The photo enhance software is useful for printing different focuses or colours and the print image matching compatibility is great with my digital camera. This means what I take is what I get printed with exact colour matches. This is something I use a lot because there is not a lot of things more annoying than printing a lovely photo only ...

Advantages: Cheap 3 in 1 printer Disadvantages: can be prone to paper jams
...1 to replace an older epson 580 printer, which eventually expired after 3 years use.I like Epson printers I think they give good value for money and the print quality is good for the price range. My old Epson 580 was very noisy the cx3200 is noticeably quieter, and is of a superior build quality.
The cx3200 represents great value for money combining a printer, scanner and stand alone photocopier,a very usefull feature you do not get with all 3 in ... ...and £28 for the original Epson cartridges . Also the cartridges are fitted with an intelligent chip which records the ink levels inside the cartridge. This chip is designed so that the cartridge must be thrown away and a new one purchased as when you refil the cartridge the chip does not register the refil.without this information the printer will not function.
As with most printers compatibles can be purchased for half the price, and refil kits ...

Advantages: All In One Printer Disadvantages: Expensive Cartridge
...It was not advisable by Epson for us to use compatible cartridges but I just don't bother. The quality is exactly the same to my opinion.

Advantages: Very cheap Printer, Good quality, Fast Disadvantages: Bit large
EPSON have a very respectible name in the printing industry. With there cheap innovative designs and quality printers, they lead the market along side Hewlett Packard. This printer maybe quiet large in size but in the long run it is cheap, and saves the seperate scanner and colour photocopier.
Speed
---------
This printers respective 10ppm in Black and 9ppm in Colour seems a bit fast for the printer actually generates. It more likely prints around ... ...really is alot of extras Epson have included. Although this multi function machine is big and bulky it still saves a lot of space and is very useful.
Design and Ease of Use
----------------------------------
The ease of use on this particular model is suprisingly user friendly considering the features supplied by Epson. The driver installation could not be simpler and the use in and out of Windows is dead simple. Design of this printer is unusual ...

Advantages: 3-in-1 system - printer / scanner / photocopier Disadvantages: Quite bulky - but good size considering it's 3-in-1
...ink has run out. Genuine Epson Ink Cartridges for the printer are rather expensive, and consequently (with my tight budget!) I am forced to purchase compatible ink. No problem there though – printer handles them with no problems at all – incidentally the quality is exactly the same.

Advantages: None as far as I can see. Disadvantages: Refer to review
...not clean the prinyt head nozzles. I replaced one further colour and the machne was still locked.
On contacting Epson I was advised that ALL cartridges had to be changed befor it would unlock, unlike my other printer where I could change the Black and have a bare 5/10% in the colour cartridge where the heads could always be cleaned.
It would appear as others have stated that Epson are more interested in selling the ink.
In my opinion this machine in NO way whatsoever is equal to or better than my CX3200 which I have had to revert to.
This DX600O prints purely A4, size paper. there is no small extra over this to print A4 envelopes. Epson state that to print A4 envelopes one must change to LANDSCAPE mode. This is not acceptable to me, on the CX3200 one can print to A4 and as stated in the manual US LETTER. This particular machine...

Advantages: Occupies less space, excellent quality Disadvantages: Comparitively Noisy paper feeder.
...The epsonCX5200 is pretty much the same printer as the CX3200 but with a higher specification. The all in one includes a printer, scanner and the ability to combine these to create a stand alone (without PC) copier. The printer is very attractive, moulded in light and dark grays with smooth curves and a stylish, easy to use control panel. The printer is USB only and comes with a standard length usb and power cable. It also comes with a bundle of software that lets you take complete advantage of the printer and scanners capabilities and a rather large manual (which is mainly due to the number of languages it contains).
Printer
-------
The printer boasts a printing resolution of 5760 dots per inch and is capable of printing up to 22 pages per minute in black and 11 pages per minute in colour. The printer is very quiet...
