We joined this gym as it is close to home. I find the staff here very friendly and helpful. The facilities are all I need-an average size pool with a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna, a gym with plenty of every type of equipment and also a wide choice of classes to take part in. For those with babies/young children there is also a nursery open all day.
As well as the above, there is also a bar. This bar is generally very busy and can ... ...meaning it can be noisy. The bar does food too, which I have found to be really tasty.
The facilities are generally well maintained and clean. At the time of writing this review, they are undergoing a refurbishment of the whole place, which is making it a lot more pleasant to use. ... more

After joining a much newer Esporta at Harlow we had to relocate to Bristol with 9 months left to run on our membership. I tried the club in Bristol about ten times but haven't been back since because of the poor hygiene, poor state of the pool and spa area (the steam room was only operational on two of my visits) and the fact that it always seemed to be full of kids, even in the bar. I like to relax after a work out and it just isn't possible at ... ...office we have had to continue paying for a service that is of a much lower standard than the one we bought. Terminating our membership was more of an ordeal that it should have been and I have come to realize all that really matters to this company is parting you from your money, for which you receive very little value. ...
