Advantages: towels provided Disadvantages: Expensive, machines often do not function properly, terrible work-out music
This gym is over-priced, perhaps because of its location. The only benefit I have found over other gyms is towels provided, that is it. The excercise machines are not maintained and therefore run down, and often not functioning properly. One or both of the sunbeds were always broken or 'out of order'. The showers also were terrible. The background music while you work out, is awful i.e. Tina Turner, not exactly work out music. Reception seems to ...

waste of time Review ofEsporta Club, Swiss Cottage, Londonby

Advantages: none Disadvantages: dishinest and a waste of time
I was looking for a gym/studio where I could also take my teenage daughter, so phoned up especially to ask if this would be possible at this gym. The man listened to my query, then phoned me back later and said yes. We then went in and were shown around, and encouraged to sign up. Several time during this whole procedure I checked again whether my daughter could use the facilites. We were told yes, and I signed up for a full price membership for ... ...for our induction at the gym, only to be told that she was not, in fact, allowed at her age to use the gym. We had wasted a lot of time and effort, and this was extremely poor service. There was a reason why I had kept checking from the beginning. We were baciscally lied to and fobbed off until we had signed up, then let down. Needless to say I will be cancelling my membership. ...

Advantages: 130 aerobics classes, big air conditioned gym, good personal programme system, free towels, use of other esportas Disadvantages: 12 month membership
I joined this gym 8 years ago and its been worth every penny.
I love the timetable it has loads of different kinds of classes, I especially like Boxercise & Salsa. Very big fitness arena with brand new equipment and loads of weights. I'm not really into the pool but Ilike to relax in thesauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The staff are very friendly and there are free clubs and social activities to take part in, if your not too busy.
When your a member ...

Advantages: not long to wait Disadvantages: they hold you to 12 months rigedly - not value for money - not clean
...robbery. Will never join esporta again.
Also the ladies showers are mouldy & the shower gel smells mouldy because of this.
The steam room is frequently broken. I agree the music is bad & often too loud to leave you the option of listening to an ipod.
However, usually all the equipment is working & there is plenty of aerobic equipment to go round. ...
