Advantages: Easy To Use, Lightweight Disadvantages: Not Waterproof
Most weekends I can usually be found trudging across some remote part of the Countryside. I have done this week in, week out for many years but it only recently struck me how many miles I must cover on an average walk. It is of course reasonably easily to estimate the distance covered with the aid of a good map but these days there are a whole range of little gadgets available, which measure the distance that you walked.
These gadgets are colloquially referred to as Pedometers. I have recently purchased a EurohikeWalking Pedometer which have I used for the past couple of months. I purchased this from a local Outdoors Shop for £9.99.
Prior to my purchase I had virtually no knowledge of Pedometers, other than being aware that they existed. There were actually two different choices available in the Shop that I went to. My decision ...
Advantages: Very lightweight, contained in a bag, easy to set-up/put away Disadvantages: Gets rather tedious when your dog's a complete numpty.
your dog, willing them each day to achieve the level you didn?t get to yourself. I digress somewhat. Dog agility is essentially an obstacle course for doggies that includes jumps and other particular pieces that each have their own rules. One of the most difficult pieces of equipment to master (though I picked it up quite quickly) is the weave ? it involves poles sticking vertically out of the ground which the dog has to enter from the right and ?weave? in and out right to the 12th pole ? yep, 12 poles. How on earth do you explain to something as dimwitted as a Labrador the rules of the weave? On average it takes about 6 months for a normal dog to grasp the concept, thus, I knew we were going to have a long road ahead of us and she wasn?t going to pick it up by just attending training twice a week.

Advantages: Small, Compact, Lightweight, Affordable. Disadvantages: Get's a bit hot when cooking.
I go camping a lot! It would be fair to say that I enjoy it, very much! So it won't suprise you to learn that I love checking out camping shops for little gadgets or something new to experiment with.
When it comes to going away, you want to reduce the bulk of whatever you're taking. Even more so when camping, because if you're camping properly you want to go back to basics as much as you can!
This cookset made by Eurohike is brilliant! It's desgin means that you can easily nest each pot and pan inside one another to create a small bundle. Very space saving, very practical. A travel/carry bag is provided with the set.
Made of Aluminium, this cookset is very light. An obvious downside to being made of metal however, is the heat conducting qualities. So when cooking with the set you need to be constantly aware of how hot it may be ...
