Advantages: Small, Compact, Lightweight, Affordable. Disadvantages: Get's a bit hot when cooking.
I go camping a lot! It would be fair to say that I enjoy it, very much! So it won't suprise you to learn that I love checking out camping shops for little gadgets or something new to experiment with.
When it comes to going away, you want to reduce the bulk of whatever you're taking. Even more so when camping, because if you're camping properly you want to go back to basics as much as you can!
This cookset made by Eurohike is brilliant! It's desgin means that you can easily nest each pot and pan inside one another to create a small bundle. Very space saving, very practical. A travel/carry bag is provided with the set.
Made of Aluminium, this cookset is very light. An obvious downside to being made of metal however, is the heat conducting qualities. So when cooking with the set you need to be constantly aware of how hot it may be ...
I LOVE TEA!!! Yes I do, and as I type this, sitting at my desk in my pyjamas I have a cup of tea with me, it?s the first thing I do after I wake up every morning!!! And to prove it, I?ve added a photo of me, with my favourite mug of tea!! (apologies I look mank, I haven?t been awake long!!!!).
So, the particular tea product that is in my lovely pink mug (Tesco, 57p, got to love it!!!), is PG Tips, one of the most favourite brands of tea in this country. It?s very well known partly through the clever advertising, that includes the monkeys!!! I remember them from my childhood?
So, yes, PG Tips, also famous because of the innovative pyramid bag. The purpose of the pyramid bag is to allow the loose tea leaves to move around freely, and to create a fuller and much more enjoyable flavour, and therefore heighten your tea drinking ...

Advantages: cost, easy to put up, replaceable poles Disadvantages: outer rips easily, groundsheet wears easily
dry weekend and two came back in need of repair after one night. The elastic inside the poles snapped and one ground sheet had caught and snagged leaving a rip of 4cm. This was surprising as the ground was fairly even with no stones. Fortunately the poles can be replaced for a cost of around £15 or buy replacement elastic and thread it through (which I did successfully and it held). The outer sheet of one tent ripped really easily on barbed wire (you would expect a rip but possibly not such a large one!). The porch area is a good size and 3 teenagers fitted in snugly with all their backpacks.
The same three tents stayed dry in very wet weather with minimal condensation - even the one repaired with gaffer tape!
My opinion:
This is a brilliant tent for festivals, campsites and backdoor camping and is reasonable but not ideal ...
