Fun and safe mats!

Advantages: safe, nice, easy to use
Disadvantages: may be pulled up!

Bath time is fun time for babies! They love to play with their toys and splash around but there's always that element of worry knowing that your baby is playing in water and that the bath is very slippy so you do need to keep your baby as safe as possible. The usual bath mats work really well but they are really plain and boring looking and, from what I remember when we ewre younger, they used to go mouldy very quickly especially the white ones! I saw these Clippasafe mini bath mats and thought they looked so much nicer and decided to give them a go and see if they would work okay for us and if they would be fun for our baby too! The bath mats come in packets of 6 and they are mini which means you do need to use them all so that they are actually useful else they're just not worth it! They stick onto the bath easily and they ...

Mothercare's 'Walkaround Exerciser'

Advantages: You know where they are at all times!
Disadvantages: Some babies may not like it.

When our first daughter was coming up to nine months old, she showed signs of wanting to pull herself up and try to walk, so we invested in this 'Walkaround Exerciser' from Mothercare. We were looking for a 'baby walker' really, but chose this one because it was more like an activity table, and would probably last her a lot longer. Even when she was too big to fit in the seat in the middle of the table, she could still play with the various activities on the top. She absolutely loved it from day one. The table itself has a central rotating seat that they sit in and can swivel around to reach the toys on the table top. It also has two lockable wheels, and one rotating heavy weighted leg - thus allowing the table, when wheels unlocked, to be rotated around without moving all around the room, it just pivoted around the weighted leg ...

'roll up, roll up'

Advantages: good for when you are out.
Disadvantages: doesn't adjust small enough.

. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Whats so special about this bib? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This bib, is not made from the usual pvc, that hurts babies necks. It is made from a soft flexable rubber. It is so much kinder on the little ones. kieran loved it. there was no more crying when i put it on him, and no more red marks. It rolls up for travelling. You just roll it and seal it with the neck adjuster. This is very good when you haven't got much room in your baby bag, as it just slips in a little space. Also rolling it up like that, helps prevent any of the food on the bib, getting onto other things in your bag. i even roll the baby spoon up in it, saves losing it in the bottom of the bag. It has dimpled reverse. this is meant to help the air circulate, and reduce the risk of it irritating the babies skin. In my experience, i have never had a problem wuth this ...
