Advantages: great rates and offers, good network coverage, good customer service online Disadvantages: costly when used abroad
reached the limit of 2000!!!! However, they have since changed there policy so now unlimited really does mean unlimited which is brilliant.
Receiving my bill
As I set up my contract online, all my billing is also done online. I can log onto the website to view my bill and recent charges at anypoint as well as checking out how much of my allowances I have used. Every month O2 email me telling me that my bill is now ready and how much I owe (this is usually £15 but sometimes I go over!). It is all set up for a direct debit so I don't have to physically do anything to pay them other than to make sure I have the money in my account.
£63 for free from O2!
I have always recommended O2 to family and friends and most of them have moved over to O2 and are very happy with them. My mum is perhaps one of their most satisfied ...

Advantages: in hindsight- NONE, well free phone I suppose Disadvantages: poor value, worse service, bad network
At first this deal looked reasonable and I got it for my wife because some kind soul had broke into her car and nicked her pay as you go mobile.
The plan looked similar to the deal she was getting on O2 pay as you go but there was a free phone so it meant that we wouldnt have to pay out hundreds for a new one
This was the point at which I hastily ordered the phone and it came quickly and everythiing was ok up til here
After comparing the contract tariff to the pay as you go in detial, I realised that the deal was not that good and that the pay as you go package was a lot better value for money. Nevermind I thought, at least the wife got a free phone so in the long run the price would be the same as shelling out for a new phone and staying on pay as you go.
Then we had problems with O2 customer care. They got a bill wrong 4 months ago ...
Advantages: cheap tarrifs Disadvantages: where shall i start?
, I have nothing against indian people or any foreign people, but I do expect my emails to be read by somebody who understands english, and it was clear from the replies that I had not been understood at all.
And so it continues
So far in my quest to pay my bill I have had my password and security number changed by O2 twice as they clearly thought that my only prblem was that I had forgotten them. I have recieved several sets of instructions telling me how I can view my bill online. I have also been told that they find my requests offensive when I asked to be contacted by an english person who might better understand what I want. I have no come to the end of my 12 month contract period and so i decided to cancel my contract and have done with O2
Yes we can cancel your account for you
I checked the website to find out ...
