O2 offer a Pay As You Go tariff which allows you 300 free text messages a month and charges 25p a minute for the first three minutes of a call, and then 5p a minute for the remainder of the call to O2 mobiles or BT lines. Calls to none O2 networks are charged at 40p a minute. The downside is that you must top-up a minimum of £10 a month otherwise you will lose your 300 free text messages allowance.
The best range of tariffs are on the Pay Monthly contracts. You must be willing to stay with O2 for a full year as the contract cannot be ended unless you are willing to pay for the full price of the mobile (if you got it free when you signed up) and high cancellation costs! I am currently using the cheapest of the contracts which is at £20 ...

i have been with o2 for a long time and it is brilliant i love the fact that if you ran out of credit you can borrow a pound of o2. its brilliant and will stop with o2 forever. i have also been with 3 before and they were rubbish i could not get the reception like i can with o2. i get people from o2 calling me to see if everything has gone ok with my pay and go sim, they are so friendly and wouldnt ever change from them. when i have a problem i just have to call them and it is sorted out straight away, not that i have had any problems. i recomend o2 to anyone and hopefully it will just be o2 who are working and not shitty 3 or orange. ...

Advantages: great rates and offers, good network coverage, good customer service online Disadvantages: costly when used abroad
reached the limit of 2000!!!! However, they have since changed there policy so now unlimited really does mean unlimited which is brilliant.
Receiving my bill
As I set up my contract online, all my billing is also done online. I can log onto the website to view my bill and recent charges at anypoint as well as checking out how much of my allowances I have used. Every month O2 email me telling me that my bill is now ready and how much I owe (this is usually £15 but sometimes I go over!). It is all set up for a direct debit so I don't have to physically do anything to pay them other than to make sure I have the money in my account.
£63 for free from O2!
I have always recommended O2 to family and friends and most of them have moved over to O2 and are very happy with them. My mum is perhaps one of their most satisfied ...
