Folded Ears

Advantages: The best companion you could hope for
Disadvantages: The breeding

This is a review about a breed of cat which I am pretty sure most people have never heard off. Even if you have heard of the breed I am fairly certain you might not have seen one either. How this breed came about ----------------------------------- Well in 1961 in Perthshire, Scotland a shepherd by the name of William Ross noticed the first Scottish Fold cat on record at a farm near Coupar Angus. The cat had ears which appeared to be identical to how an owl might look which were folded. He decided to try and create the breed himself. He then took the cat to be registered and they began this breeding program with 76 kittens being born over a four year period. Out of those 76 kittens 42 of them had folded ears and 34 didn't. The theory is that the reason they have folded ears is due to an incomplete dominant gene and is this is ...

My favourite all-round tyre

Advantages: Comfortable, confidence building tyre, best in medium to soft terrain,
Disadvantages: Roling resistance penalty on hardpack and gravel

The Cinders so far are my favourite all-purpose trail tyre. I like them better than the Fire XC Pros, they're slower rolling, but inspire more confidence. I have the cinders in 2.1. And it is a full 2.1 carcass, unlike many manufacturers whose 2.1 carcasses look somewhat skinny. The tyre is best suited to medium to soft terrain, where it excels, hooking up really nicely finding plenty of traction in the soft stuff. I run them between 35-40 psi, which gives decent comfort, and grip, and reasonable mud shedding ability . In very thick/deep mud, they tend to spin rather than grip, and they don't clear quite as quickly as a mud-specific tyre, but otherwise as long as you keep the tyre pressures down, the gear low and go for it, they'll get you through most muddy sections. On hardpack and gravel, the high knobs makes their ...

Roger Federer

Advantages: Great Forehand, Simple Game and Consistent
Disadvantages: None

Well. Where do you start? Roger Federer has the potential to be the Pele of tennis. He may become the greatest ever player to hold a tennis racket. He already has three Grand Slam titles to his name and in the future he should add many more. Roger Federer is a rather unique tennis player. In many ways, his game and style of play is so simple, which makes mistakes minimal and makes succes at the highest level much easier. However, his forehand is probably the best in the world of mens tennis and possibly the most unique. He has incredible supination around his wrist joint which allows him to generate incredible pace and power, as well unreal angles and accuracy. With this power and accuracy, Federer does have a huge amount of consistency. He doesn't give away many points to his opponents, making beating him that bit more difficult ...
