Benefit Eyebright is a miraculous pink pencil that brightens tired eyes for that young, wide-awake look. You can buy it from department stores with a Benefit counter or online. I got mine from Boots for £13.50. The basic idea is that the shade of pink that is used has a brightening effect on your eyes, whilst concealing dark shadows and making you look wide awake and radiant. It has a smooth and creamy easy to blend formula and can be used in several different ways. The main way to use this and how I use it is just putting a little at the inner corners of the eyes and blending lightly. This really brightens up your eyes and makes you look fresher. Friendly Fires - Friendly Fires

Fires may be just the band for you. Don't expect hardcore trashy guitar riffs or heavy beating drum solos, just expect intelligent synth-pop from a band on the cusp of making it 'big'. For those lucky enough to already know about them, kudos to you. For those about to learn about them, you'll wish you already did. It's in the 2 for £10 range at HMV as I type...so go, go, go! ...

Playing with Fire

Advantages: still a big fan of this series after reading this, I love the characters
Disadvantages: It takes forever to get into and was too drawn out at the beginning. Not as good as the first!

The late Stieg Larsson's second book in the Millennium series, "The Girl Who played with Fire" is more focussed on it's Introverted and mysterious computer hacker heroine, Lisbeth Salander. Salander and Millenniums magazine's publisher Mikael Blomkvist are once again reunited (or rather linked) by a chain of events caused by the intended publication of facts regarding the sex trade in Sweden which would expose many important men from journalists to police officers. Before the publication can go ahead and before Salander can exert her own brand of justice, three people are murdered and forensic evidence puts Salander right in the frame.
