Fischer LS Skate / Classic

Advantages: Good in difficult slopes, accurate handling in most situations
Disadvantages: Handling in high speed not most accurate

...Based on my experience, Fischer Alltrax Border-X is a good carver for advanced users. I have used it in standard downhills (not off from the slopes) and it offers good grip from the slope. The handling in high speed is, however, not the most accurate in the market. Fischer Alltrax Border-X is pretty durable and it most likely will last for a long time. Mine are >2 years old and they are in good shape. Hardnes is only average eventhough it contains Fischer Vacuum inner. Advantages: Unique idea and fun

...Heelys are 'Shoes that Cruise'. They are uniquely designed to let you walk, run, roll and skate due to the removable wheel(s) in the heel. They are akin to roller/inline skates but with a difference. Put the wheel in to skate, remove to walk. Since writing this review originally in 2005, Heelys are more popular now (in 2008) amd are a lot easier and cheaper to come by. Even Amazon sell them now with prices starting at about £35, which is no more expensive than a pair of trainers. What are Heelys? Heelys look like an ordinary pair of trainers but with either one or two removable wheels in the heel which you can see in the photos below. Advantages: Affordable, Comfortable, and fast grinds.
Disadvantages: I can't think of any.

...I ordered these skates with the Genesis 2 frames and Salomon Wide Bodies. However, you do not need the wide bodies, the skate has a decent soul area, but the wide bodies make it better (my opinion). I heard the frames it comes with are ok, but they break easily, so I would recommend getting an upgraded set. I also read that somebody said, these skates felt like you were strapped to 2 pillows that were gliding down rails, and this is very true. The liners are very very comfortable. When I first put on these skates, I thought I slipped on another sock. The boot molded right to my foot and made for a very comfortable ride. After I put my skates together, I went outside to skate for a little while. Right away, I could do a Royale, and comfortably too.
