Good carver for advanced users
Review of Fischer Alltrax Border-X by
PekkaPeltonen
Advantages: Good in difficult slopes, accurate handling in most situations
Disadvantages: Handling in high speed not most accurate
...Based on my experience, Fischer Alltrax Border-X is a good carver for advanced users. I have used it in standard downhills (not off from the slopes) and it offers good grip from the slope.
The handling in high speed is, however, not the most accurate in the market.
Fischer Alltrax Border-X is pretty durable and it most likely will last for a long time. Mine are >2 years old and they are in good shape.
Hardnes is only average eventhough it contains Fischer Vacuum inner. But, like said, this carver is not meant for high speed.

There's Nothing Worse Than Cold Wet Feet
Review of Footjoy Golf Shoes by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: Keep your wee tootsies warm, dry and comfortable
Disadvantages: Expensive (but you get what you pay for!)
...into the sea, and with the amount of rainfall we’ve experienced in the past year, I can tell you that I’m really beginning to believe it!
If you were to wait until the sun shines here to have a game of golf, you’d probably only get about a half a dozen rounds in the year. So the trick is to adopt the old Boy Scout’s motto, and be prepared. This means the best set of waterproof clothing that money can buy, a good, strong golf umbrella, a sturdy hat, lots of towels, and most important of all, an excellent pair of golf shoes in order to keep the old tootsies both dry and warm.
It doesn’t matter how cosy and snug the rest of your body is. If your feet are cold and wet, then I guarantee that you’ll feel totally miserable, and your golf game will suffer as a consequence.
~ ~ And golf shoes simply don’t come...
