Simple, effective but does the job

Advantages: small, simple and reliable
Disadvantages: can't think of any

There are many different types of electronic bite alarms on the market. Some are good, some aren't. Some have many functions, some don't. There appears to be a trend to have alarms where you can crank the sensitivity right up to detect line bites, waves and wind movements. Infact, everything but an actual run. What is the point in knowing when fry fish bang in to the line? What is the point in knowing when a fish is 'playing' around with the hook ...

Review of Fox mini microns

Light weight but not for everyone

Advantages: Exceptinally light, very comfortable
Disadvantages: expensive compare to other 2 leg bed chairs

I have always bought 2 leg chairs since these tend to be a bit smaller, and lighter. The superlight 2 leg is not the most comfortable bed chair on the market (it is no cocoon) but it is by far means not the most uncomfortable chair.
