Fitness First in Bromborough is 12 minutes away from us, situated on a large trading estate with an ASDA, Comet, Curry's, Halfords, etc. So you can combine your workout with picking up the shopping too.
The facilities at the gym are all clean and well kept, if a little crowded. Not that I notice as I am usually too knackered. All the cardio machines have head-phone sockets so you can listen to music or watch the TV, there are eight ... ...In common with all the fitness first clubs this one has a free 24hr video/dvd rental library which is a nice touch.
Membership comes in 2 forms off-peak - Monday to Friday before 4pm (you just have to be in before 4pm, unlike some clubs they won't throw you out at 4!) and weekends after 2pm - and peak - anytime.
