Advantages: Good cardio and classes... Disadvantages: but the weights area leaves a lot to be desired

As I refuse to pay a fee for the honour of paying out regular money this sounded good to me and I went to have a look. Annoyingly they wouldn't tell me of the different offers at reception but I had to actually book an appointment with a sales rep. This would normally put me off but they managed to get someone to come and show me around near enough immediately so I decided ... ...people rarely do so and Fitness First does not provide any form of cleaning spray etc. The cleaners turn up fairly frequently however and they are always careful to wipe all the equipment down so it's not too much of a problem.
The weights part of the gym is much smaller and much more cramped. In fact, even though I normally enjoy doing weights I tend to stay away from them here as there just is not enough space to do any of the usual exercises. ...

...I joined was not a Fitness First gym but was just a local sports centre owned by the council (a good one at that)... So when I compare FF to my old gym this is the one I'm talking about.)
At my old place the induction was quite full on. We got shown how to work all the cardio stuff and very importantly were given technique tips and shown how to use the resistance equiptment in order not to injure yourself. It was a nice big gym area with plenty ... ...big blue balls. There were wall bars, free weights and mirrors. Like I said... that was my old place...
The reason I joined FF was because my sister had won 6 months complimentry membership and was lovely enough to let me have it. It was for the Camden (London) branch so off I went and claimed my free gold membership. ~~THE MEMBERSHIP~~

I first joined Camden then made the mistake to move my home membership to Holloway. the rest is history....
Good classes but I did find all areas of this gym very very small.
The staff seem a lot better than Holloway. This gym also had a high turn over with staff and members. I think I only stayed 3 months before I left. You do get the odd pick trying to chat up the girls. I little bit better that Holloway but I think it's because you have a lot ...
