As a member I can say that Fitness First gives you the framework for an excellent workout. The machines are good, with plenty to go around, and there are a vast number of classes from dance to yoga. The downside? Where do I start! The administration at Ilford has been apalling. They take out to much money from your direct debit or not enough, ocassionally not at all. They then have the audacity to write letter upon letter without checking their mistakes first. The staff are rude, and I sometimes wonder if with so much unemployment they couldnt have got better staff. A brain cell between two staff members isn't to much to ask for is it. The beautician is a dream though! This is my personal experience of Fitness First at Ilford, if I were able to use the facilities without dealing with the staff this place would be ab fab.
