The Wii is a games console which uses a handheld remote for interactive play (simulating tennis etc). The Wii fit balance board is a rectangular board which the user stands on and it links up wirelessly to the Wii and is used to improve health through balance games, muscle and yoga poses and aerobic exercise games. Nintendo Wii Fit (Wii Fit)
I got Wii fit on Christmas day 2008 and ever since I have not got off it. I am a really big gamer and when I bought the Wii i thought it wasn't going to be good and it wasn't that good as the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3, but when I got Wii Fit for it I have been playing it one hour a day every day. I do all kinds of exercises on it. Including Jogging, Pushup's, Step aerobics and many more. It really is a good way of excerising because it is fun and you don't even know that you are excerising!

What is a 'Wii Fit'?
Before explaining what a Wii Fit is, I will explain the equipment you will need for it. The Wii Fit works on a Nintendo Wii - the Wii is a games console, which uses a handheld remote for interactive play (simulating tennis etc). In addition to the games console you will need a Wii Fit balance board. This can be used with other games such as skiing etc but will initially be purchased with the Wii Fit software. The Wii fit balance board is a rectangular board, which the user stands on, and it links up wirelessly to the Wii and is used to improve health through balance games, muscle and yoga poses and aerobic exercise games.
