As always with 5.10 footwear, the rubber is fantastic, even on muddy/wet pedals. Also, unlike many bike shoes, these actually look good too. And they're comfortable to walk in.
However, this shoe is not waterproof, not one little bit, so if you like your feet to stay dry you'll have to wear waterproof socks, or maybe try 'proofing them (dunno if you can do this?) - or buy something else.
I have to admit, I don't wear these as a bike shoe all the time - I have been known to climb/scramble in them and they're more than adequate for both those jobs too.
One problem - the smallest size available is a UK mens 6, or a womans 7 - so if you have dainty feet you're out of luck...
