Advantages: Durable, great for exercise Disadvantages: Expensive, boring in weak winds
Well I bought this kite as I wanted to get into power kiting, which is a sport that uses powerful kites for jumping, traction, skidding, and surfing. This kite was on offer at £90 when I purchased it 6 months ago, but these offers have been around recently. They come in a large selection of colours but in offers they usually only have a few colours to choose from. Mine is in fluorescent yellow. The wingspan is about 10 foot, hence the name super 10.
The Kite:
The kite is provided in a fairly strong zipped fabric sleeve, which is about 1/3 of the kite's wingspan. The carbon wingspar is made of 3 rods which are connected using 2 brass connectors. The kite itself is made of chikira ripstop nylon which seems very light for its strength. The spar then needs to be threaded through one of the wingtip through to the other end. This is ...
Advantages: Fast performance, low cost compared to alternatives, overclockable Disadvantages: Not Intel
Bought one of these to go with a system upgrade to play the latest games. I was very impressed with the benchmarks and the overall performance of the processor. If you are looking for a new processor, do not hesitate to buy one of these.
That being said, it is no good putting one of these chips with a budget graphics card, small amount of memory and on a budget motherboard.
It is true to say that AMD have been loosing ground to Intel for some time now (Athlon XP was the last great series), but the price vs. performance of this chip is superb and would cause even the most loyal Intel user to consider switching.
On balance this is not quite the strike back one might of hoped for, but is certainly a step in the right direction. If this chip is used with appropriate components you will end up with a PC able to run anything you want ...
Advantages: POWER!, Good build quality Disadvantages: Injuries due to underestimation
I own the 4.9 meter version of this kite. i have had it from new and am extremely pleased with it. The power range that you can get from this kite is impressive. It has ability to fly in low winds which makes it usable on calmer days. However the Mid to higher winds is where this kite really starts to shine . The power this kite can provide is tremendous. The second you underestimate its abilities and lower your guard its like stepping into a ring with Mike Tyson and insulting his mother!
I would strongly recommend this kite to anyone who like a good thrill ride as it will quickly get your adrenalin pumping the first time you leave the ground.
Excellent build quality and durability (as with all their kites) put Flexifoil in a class of their own. ...
