Advantages: Light weight, well built, a dream to ride Disadvantages: production stopped
The 26 MHz Pashley frame is unfortunatley gone out of production now as it has been replaced with the 26 GHz model, a good bike but nothing of the legend of the previous model.
I have been ridding trials for 7 years now and have had countless numbers of bike frames and the pashley has been the best. I have snapped bent and destroyed other frames, I have had JDM, DMR, Specialized, and ONZA, factory frames but these nothing compared to the pashley.
The 26Mhz is constructed from steel, a chrome alloy. This does not make it heavy however; due to the manufacturing technique the tubes are thin but very strong. Its ways a Mere 2KG for the whole frame this is amazingly light for a steel frame. The advantage being if you're unlucky enough to damage this frame it can be welded.
I bought my bike for £550 from a friend at the time that ...
Advantages: great looking, light weight and comfortable Disadvantages: uncomfortable for some
The Flite titanium saddle and its previous incarnations have been my choice of saddle for around the last eight years on some of my mountain bikes.
There is one obvious disadvantage to this saddle and that is that the shape might not be to everyone?s liking, its pretty small and does take some getting used to. On the other hand, there are many advantages to this saddle, one of which is the fact that now I?m used to it I find it perfectly comfortable. Main advantages have to include the fact that it is so light weight at just about 200g, the fact that it is really long lasting even when used in the foulest of conditions and also the fact that it looks so sleek and would look fantastic on any bike.
I?d would definetely highly recommend this saddle to anyone... ...
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Does not inspire confidence re: safety
I've had many problems with this bike. To start with the brake system is incredibly difficult to fit. After 3 different people attempted it (including a bike expert) I had to take it back to the shop who finally managed it.
Then the real problem: after just a year the back brake block sheared off while undergoing resetting. After buying new brake blocks and attempting to fit them the end of the brake cable just fell off, leaving the cable liable to fraying. No extraordinary pressure was put on these parts to cause these failures, it was just bare hands, a spanner and an Allen key.
My experience leaves me with the opinion that the parts on this bike are shoddy and could actually be dangerous. ...
