However, once its been done once, it doesn't have to be done again.
The only draw ... ...in on your tow edge, but for beginners who sometimes find it difficult to get up on their heel edge, this is another advantage.
All in all I throughly recommend thse bindings - they may be more expensive than the regular type but they are far more comfortable and give you more control over the board. I bought a pair of these bindings because I though they might stop my hands getting so cold when I had to take my gloves off to fasten my Emery regular bindings. Boy, did they do more than that.
Firstly, they are so quick to put on. Instead of cranking tight those ratchets - all four of them - you just put your foot in and snap shut the clamp.
Secondly, and more importantly for me, when the clamp is shut, you get far more control over your board.
