They also come with numerous ways of adjusting the fittings - my tip is to do this before you hit the slopes and not during as I found out one day when I spent about half an hour tightening the back - which I had to do by unscrewing the entire binding. However, once its been done once, it doesn't have to be done again.
The only draw back I can see ... ...edge, but for beginners who sometimes find it difficult to get up on their heel edge, this is another advantage.
All in all I throughly recommend thse bindings - they may be more expensive than the regular type but they are far more comfortable and give you more control over the board. And you get to enjoy that snow more, being half way down a slope while your snowboard buddies are still at the summit tightening their ratchets. ...
