No serious goalkeeper should be wearing anything but fingersaves!
Advantages: Protection from breaks and increased control Disadvantages: Can be a bit strange at first if not used to fingersaves but easy to adapt to!
I thought I would write this review as I have had a great experience with this product. I'm no professional, though play football at a respectable level and consider myself to be a promising young goalkeeper.
I had never bothered with fingersave gloves before I broke my index finger in a game last year. I decided following it's recovery that I should invest in a pair of fingersave gloves. I must admit I had my reservations about these in particular ... ...the fingers would be restricted too much but I was wrong.
I invested in a pair of these and they have been brilliant, no problems whatsoever. If there is anyone out there not wearing fingersave gloves, then invest in a pair, because you only need to break a finger that refuses to heal properly and you've got problems. These gloves offer complete protection from damage to your fingers and do not restrict the control you have at all.
These are perfect ...

Adidas Evolution E4S World Cup Fingersaves
Advantages: Keeps finigers Steady and Protected Disadvantages: Sometimes cant punch Ball
Adidas Evolution E4S World Cup Fingersaves are the best new Adidas goalkeeper gloves. I have size 11 ones and they are great. You can save shots going at some speed and it doesnt hurt your fingers. You have great padding around the fingertips and palm of your hand as the fingers of the gloves have the hard bendy plastic inside and the padding around to keep your fingers secure. So if you injure your finger you can still play in goal as it is protected. ... ...the bar, this is becuase the fingers are solid so the ball flicks up and you have saved the shot.
These are the best fingersave gloves my by Adidas and i will never change them until a new pair come out which are as good!
Gloves are A** ...

Adidas Fingersave Evolution ES3
Advantages: Good grip Disadvantages: Gets uncomfortable after a while
I bought a pair of Adidas Fingersave Evolution ES3 last season and they have been one of the best gloves i have ever worn.
These gloves have good grip on the ball so you don't have to worry about doing a classic goal keeping mistake.
On the fingers they have fingersaves which is rubber and stops your fingers from being dislocated, sprained or broken which is very handy when those fast shots come straight at your face.
They look great and stylish ... ...enhance your performance really well and it not wearing away helps a lot.
The strap stays on and the velcro also does'nt wear away which helps a lot.Its great value for money and they last for about two seasons if your lucky. They are comfortable but if you keep them on to long they get uncomfortable. ...

Great looks - poor performance - Nike Tiempo SGT Gloves
Advantages: Stunning looks, very comfortable. Disadvantages: Very poor grip
...colour scheme and that massive Nike tick, reassurance usually of a well-made product. I fell for these gloves immediately and parted with something in the region of £65 for them. I had made a mistake.
The main problem with these gloves is the foam. 4mm latex palms are what you would expect from professional quality gloves, but by my own admission the SGT technology was an intriguing concept. Sipe Grip Technology, SGT, has been developed by Nike, ... ...the palms have thin grooves all over the surface allowing for the palms to stretch. Personally I found on the pitch that this initiative is not only pointless, it is a hindrance. The grip is not as good as standard smooth grips, and presented me with issues when it came to collecting crosses and gathering the ball from the feet of strikers. In fact, I was so concerned about the grip that in the first match I used them I switched to my old Adidas ...

Total Flop or Total 90?
Advantages: Great Finger Support Sytem Disadvantages: Poor Grip
The Total 90 wired gloves are very good because use the latest technology in ensuring maximum grip of the football and protection of the player. I would recommend these gloves to someone who maybe playing for a Sunday team but would not recommend to those who are in academy level or higher.
The implications of those not being the highest rated gloves is because the grip on the glove is not as thick as other leading brands such as sellsport and uhlsport.
