Nike Tiempo Legend
Review of Nike Tiempo by Marvell

Advantages: Soft, Leathery, Goal Scorers Classic
Disadvantages: Leather wears slightly

...ever so soft. The custom nike pattern gives it a fashionable design. Nike Tiempo Legend are used by 9% Premier League Players. This boot is great for soft ground and this is seen by the amount of footballers who wear it. I had these shoes last season and they are still in mint condition which show quality is a must as with most Nike products. I normally go for the coveted 3 striped but this was an eye catching yet basic design i thoroughly enjoyed ... Read review

Shinguards
Review of Adidas Estavelo Lite by Dwayne2008

Advantages: Strong
Disadvantages: price

Shin guards with ankle guards will give you extra protection, however anything thick, insulating and bulky on player's feet (ankles included) will reduce the feel of the ball and interfere with his/hers performance on the soccer field. There are some brilliant shin pads and they are great to play football with. My personal experience from these shin pads has been expericing a tackle on the knee pad.The tackle was hard on me,but thankfully these guards ... Read review

Nike Tri shield
Review of Nike Tri shield by craig612

Advantages: Cheap and protect like a gem
Disadvantages: Gets sweaty like most

I love my football and I train seriously and play on a Saturday.I am always looking for a great purchase and I think I have found one.I'm always trying to protect myself from serious or minor injures when im playing or just training. Most injuries that I ever get is that I don't warm up properly but there is nothing you can do once it has happened. If you ever come to play with filthy players which shouldnt be in the game who leave you on the floor ...
...have worn protection from injures since my dad broke his leg from a nasty challenge. You should never have to pay excessive amounts of money for shin pads and these are an example as I only payed £9.99 for them which to me is a bargain.I havent seen them in any shops which is where I started looking but just type it in on the internet and it will come up. They protect the right bit of your leg and cover the right distance of your shin.It is made ... Read review

Mitre or mitre not
Review of Mitre Duo Shield by milesy19912007

Advantages: extensive protection to shins and ankles
Disadvantages: last seasons style, baulky and hardly a fashion statement.

...these shinpads are that with mitre you have peace of mind over the quality and durability, at a premium. These shinpads have ankle protectors which will help to protect your ankles from serious impact injuries, they will not however prevent twisted ankles etc. The good thing about them is that they are now relatively cheap and do provide you with good protection around £8 online. However now to the bad side they only have a very simple design and ...
...to more modern counterparts around 0.4kg in size large. Where their addidas equivalents weigh just 0.26kg and believe it or not these slight variations can be the edge you need to get to the ball. Especially for the slower runner for whom i would advise to buy the lightest boots and shinpads. A good pair of boots for low weight are pumas that can be bought for as little as £20 online in last seasons styles. However the lighter shinpads may not provide ... Read review

Get up to be chopped down another day
Review of Nike Tri shield by BALLISTIC

Advantages: comfort, price, protection, length of life
Disadvantages: colour fades quickly

...of 7 I have used Nike shin pads in varying forms and have never paid anything more than £10, and indeed, my Nike Tri Shield pads were only £7.99 from JJB Sports some years ago. I have to admit, I haven't seen these in any sports shops for about 12 months but a quick glance at the net does confirm they are still available from a number of online stores. Why are they called Tri Shield pads, well that is the easy part to explain. The pads are roughly ...
...of the pad is made from EVA foam and had three ridges evenly spaced running down the pad providing extra protection at points where serious damage can be done by a direct kick. In addition, there is adequate padding on the ankle section that sits just on the top of the boot giving good ankle support and protection. The pads are easy to put on and take off as they are worn like a sock with velcro straps at the top to adjust the tightness. As far ... Read review
