...more in the modern day nike boots. I gotta say in defense of them though that the design is nice and they are extremely light. But maybe as my story proves that isnt such a good thing. If you are a real footballer who likes to play alot and not just against mates but competitively then i would not recommend these boots. These are simply thick cotton and nylon made into a bandage type material which straps along your foot and protrudes from the main shin pad. The ankle support on these shin pads is excellent. I love my football and I train seriously and play on a Saturday.I am always looking for a great purchase and I think I have found one.I'm always trying to protect myself from serious or minor injures when im playing or just training.

I have worn many shin pads in my time as I play for a local Saturday club. You wouldn't believe it but shin pads are massive part of the game. It is crucial you have sufficient shin pads on while playing a competitive match, well the referee wont let you play with out them any way. The shins are one of the most painful places to get hurt. Shin pads really will stop any damage ... ...very sweaty situation.
These Nike Air Shin Guards look really good, although that's not surprising coming from Nike. You can get them in many different colours the ones I have got are the red and silver ones. They look impressive and would embarrass Umbro shin pads for the looks. The shiny material used on these pads are often notice even through socks so I might look a bit silly in some cases, but you cant have it all your way.
