Nice, But Oh So Plain!
Review of Adidas AC Milan Away Football Shirt by
awaykitcom
Advantages: Adidas quality, nice material, simple but stylish looks.
Disadvantages: Rather plain for an away shirt.
...red and black trim.
Embroidered Adidas logo in black on the right of the chest.
Cloth AC Milan club badge on the left of the chest with embroidered gold star above it.
Opel logo and ZAFIRA printed across the chest in black.
Made in Adidas' CilmaCool material.
Available in short sleeve and possibly long sleeve too, though I've only ever seen the short sleeve available.
Sizing is the standard Adidas with approx. chest sizes as follow:-
Small ... ...should be black with the Adidas logo and a white printed label that has a bar code, the size information and a product code of 109951.
The shirt is well made and very comfortable. The ClimaCool material is great for leisure or playing in and find that it causes no distractions, not even when wet. It's got a nice, wide v-neck collar that hangs quite loosely so you won't feel restricted. The end's of the sleeves are formed from the seams of the two ...

River plate deep mountain high
Review of Adidas River Plate Away Football Shirt by
RobbieBurnal
Advantages: lightweight and comfortable
Disadvantages: little obscure; tend to find people ask "who's that club?" a lot
River plate are my favourite Argentinian team other than Boca juniors, this may seem like a huge contradiction (its as good as saying my favourite Mancunian team is Man United, other than City of course!), but its true, the only reason i love Boca so much is because when the young Diego Armando Maradona was playing there his Bronca (bull like rage), on the field brought the place to life. Buenos Aeries is a city close to my heart, since the Peronist ... ...to the peso being inexterably linked to the US dollar) the city has been on the up and up. A popular destination with tourists and footballers alike the beautiful capitol is responsible for some of the greatest argentinian players ogf all time, Ardilles, Villa, Maradona, Daniel Passerella...the list is endless. If you wear this top around town as i did last week in Cheadle you will find it draws the attention of most men you walk past, not a bad ...

Since When Has Green Been A Newcastle Colour!
Review of Adidas Newcastle Away Football Shirt by
al1892
Advantages: none to speak of
Disadvantages: it's green!
General Information
---------------------------
At first when I saw this shirt in one of the European games I thought that it was quite nice, I thought it was a mix of light grey and black and that i might even be tempted to buy it. Then I saw it in the shops and realised that my television picture/colour was giving me totally the wrong impression! It was in fact green. To use the official term, "cypress green". Since when I ask has cypress green ... ...fair I wouldn't have associated Cranberry with Arsenal till this season).
The Shirt Itself
--------------------
The shirt has the same quirky styling of the other shirts of this season, with strange non-collar and odd seaming. I have yet to see how the numbers perform under wear as nobody seems to wear this shirt, perhaps because it is putrid! Fortunately for the club they have a tendency to release new horrible shirts when someone new signs for ...

Shows That Simple Need Not Be Plain!
Review of Adidas Chelsea Away Football Shirt by
awaykitcom
Advantages: Distinct colour, good styling, comfortable, good build quality.
Disadvantages: Colour is not to everyones taste. Plain back if it's not got a name and number.
...Liverpools 06/07 home shirt by Adidas for a poorly designed collar and you'll know what I mean.)
The back of the shirt is very plain indeed, the same baby blue all the way over with no trim or detail. It's no big fault but if you can get an official name and number put on then it enhances it greatly.
The sleeves and lower hem, areas that shirt designers sometimes like to play around with, are very plain but in keeping with the shirt design. Overall, ... ...and pulls, unlike many Nike, Adidas and Reebok shirts.
Care of the shirt is quite straightforward. From my experience, simply wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle with your normal washing powder. I don't bother with conditioner unless it's a 2-in-1 detergent. DO NOT tumble dry your football shirts, instead hang them on a rack in a warm room or line dry them. Tumble drying of football shirt material usually results in shrinkage and a lot of printed ...

Not A Greek Tragedy!
Review of Adidas Greece Away Football Shirt by
awaykitcom
Advantages: Comfrotable, stylish.
Disadvantages: Not great in heavy rain.
Adidas went through a spell of rather dull shirts but by the 2004 season they had rediscovered a bit of form.
Gone are the very generic styles and rather uncomfortable material and in comes a new, more lightweight and comfortable shirt.
The styling has been given an overhaul too. The previous Greece shirt, as worn when they won the European Championship, was nice if a little plain. This shirt is much different. The look is much more dynamic and ... ...standard old V-Neck of many Adidas shirts up until 2004.
I've worn mine to play in on a couple of occasions (I have over 300 so that's quite a complement.) and it's nice to play in. The only downside would be if it was particularly heavy rain then it tends to hold the moisture a little too much and become plastered to the skin, espescially at the end of the match, it can affect the comfort drastically.
Overall though, a very nice looking shirt ...
