...no complaints about them. The Mitre Max is a FIFA approved football, infact one of the most popular FIFA approved footballs on the market. It is made from high quality PU leather and features a 26 panel design. We bought ours online for around £20 each so they are of mid-range price wise but offer top performance. You can purchase the mitre max in either a size 4 or 5 and can use them on both natural (grass) and artificial (astroturf) surfaces. I ...
Advantages: cheap, good sports brand, durable Disadvantages: seems poor qualitycompared to older balls, light but maybe to light
...balls we used were also mitre but were a bit tatty so I bought four 2, size 4 and size 5 the fours being for kids to use and the size 5's for myself.
These balls ar light and swerve considerably compared to the older heavier balls.
This in turn is easier on the foot and reuires less effort in passing and shoting and general contol while playing.
Ideal for new starters to the game like the under tens I help train, they are also good when I play ... ...plastic one sufficient to blow up the balls fine to a good pressure.
The balls were £14.90 from an inersport shop local to me and were recomended to me as i was looking at othere brands but I thought these would be ok.
We have used them for around two months for easy traing through the summer on astro turff and grass and they are stil like new so they are very durable.
But the light weight makes them seem less well made then the older balls we ...
Advantages: Shape and pressure retention Disadvantages: Price

Mitre provides a whole range of balls at with various levels of performance and according price. However, as a buyer of equipment for my club, I can highly recommend this ball above all of the other ones for a similar price. It provides a consistent level of performance, great accuracy, shape retention, speed and control and is suitable for all natural and artificial surfaces and climatic conditions. The one ...
Advantages: Perfect weight and power Disadvantages: Design and durability
...am a fan of the Mitre V's that have been on their range of footballs since 19forever. But this does not matter a single bit, as when you come to play with the ball you don't need to admise the design, you simply 'feel' it.
They are however unfortunately not particularly durable. Granted they are not supposed to be used on concrete, but the slightest usee can tear the synthetic coating. Nothing too damaging, but irritating non the less.
As a keeper, ... ...have the lacquer like coating that most matchballs have, meaning it doesn't stick to gloves like some others do. However, it is a dream to distribute, either by hand or foot.
I even dabbled with this ball out of goal. If I can pick out the top corner from 20 yards with this ball then I guarantee that you can! ...
Advantages: Cheap....thats about it Disadvantages: Mishapen easily, nothing outstanding about it, too hard (no cushion)
I have used a Mitre Tactic on many occasions now on all the surfaces (blaise, astro turf and grass) and I have always been underwhelmed by its performance.
My old school got them in at dirt cheap prices (about £1.73 per ball when averaged out) and used them on our blaise pitches. This really was a nightmare as getting smacked on the thigh with one of these balls on a chilly december morning is never going to be an enjoyable experience.
It would ... ...pan as kids lose millions more brain cells every time they header one of these rocks.
It also won't fly very far and if the wind takes hold of it, it could go anywhere.
With this said, it is quite a solid ball if just being used for perhaps passing drills or warm ups. It is by no stretch of the imagination anywhere near the standard of a match ball even for low level football but even still, i would recommend it as a ball to buy in bulk and use ...
