...There's nothing worse than going out to play a round of golf and coming back into the clubhouse with blisters and damp feet. Most cheap pairs of "waterproof" golf shoes will not keep your feet dry for long and will be extremely uncomfortable if you play often. Therefore it is well worth any serious golfer investing in a decent pair of golf shoes. The Dryjoy's are very comfortable with their gelfusion pack in the heel of the shoe and soft interior padding. They are 100% waterproof and are very durable. Footjoy can also customise them for you with a variety of colours and personalised messages that is not offered by many. At around £100 they seem quite expensive, but the quality is supreme and I can fully justify my expenditure since using these for over a year. Struggled to obtain XW fit but eventualy some were brought in from the States.
Very comfortable shoe. Temperature control worked well. Cool feet in Arizona in 108F and warm feet in UK winter.
Shoes in very good condition after two years but need new footbeds(in soles) tried to get hold of these from Footjoy but they are unable to supply them. Not really good enough for a £130 shoe.
X Dimension Size11W
Could not get size in FJ GelFusion shoes. Footjoy not very helpful with this despite numerous e mails to them. Stockist do not seem to stock larger sizes. saw some X dimensions going for £65 in 11 W , to my surprise they fit well.(FJ shoes vary a lot in their sizing due to different lasts used so make sure you try on the shoe you want before u buy mail order.)Very good light shoe. ...There is nothing worse than aching feet playing golf, your feet are proberly the most important part of your body to look after. lets face it you are proberly going to walk over 4 miles in a round of golf so good footware is a vital commodity. I have a pair of Footjoy Greenjoys, I chose mine after a reccomendation from a friend, prior to Footjoy's i wore a pair of cheap Donnay, then Dunlop, then a pair of Nike, but after 18 holes my feet ached with each pair.
Footjoy Greenjoys offer a soft upper made from synthetic leather, usually i stay away from synthetic but these are perfect, and don't make my feet sweat like other shoes i have worn. the inner sole moulds to your soles and really are soft, infact i feel i have a spring in my step and my feet are perfectly cushioned. The sole is made from moulded rubber and is equally soft...
