There is nothing worse than aching feet playing golf, your feet are proberly the most important part of your body to look after. lets face it you are proberly going to walk over 4 miles in a round of golf so good footware is a vital commodity. I have a pair of FootjoyGreenjoys, I chose mine after a reccomendation from a friend, prior to Footjoy's i wore a pair of cheap Donnay, then Dunlop, then a pair of Nike, but after 18 holes my feet ached with each pair.
FootjoyGreenjoys offer a soft upper made from synthetic leather, usually i stay away from synthetic but these are perfect, and don't make my feet sweat like other shoes i have worn. the inner sole moulds to your soles and really are soft, infact i feel i have a spring in my step and my feet are perfectly cushioned. Advantages: Look nice, Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.
Purchased a pair of these golf shoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy. After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should, all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom. They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault). In summary there are plenty of very good golf shoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off. ...
Advantages: sturdy, strong, robust, attractive, compact Disadvantages: difficult to assemble, not as much fun as it could be
