...I have been a member at this gym for nearly 2 years and I would have to say that the worst thing about it is motivating yourself to get there! Personally, I prefer participating in classes rather than using the gym equipment, although I do take advantage of both. There are a wide range of classes on offer both during the day and in the evening. They include plenty of the popular classes such as Body Pump and Body Combat (which if you've never tried I would definately recommend as a great way to keep fit! - Body Pump is working with weights to structured tracks in time with music and Body Combat is Kick boxing/Martial arts style moves to music - both are great fun!). The classes all take place in the Studio which is spacious enough for a good workout with mirrors in front and to the side so that you can check your technique... Read review

Advantages: 5 min walk from office, small yet spacious
Disadvantages: no swimming pool, can get busy between 12.45 and 2pm

Advantages: Close by, friends go there, free video library
Disadvantages: too many ppl are members which make it crowded, staff arent as friendly as before, too many machines in such a small area, dangerous floor tiles causes accidents etc

...Ive been a member of this facility for at least a year now and ive seen many changes since i joined and the truth is the changes have not been for the best but for the worse! I started going to FF when my mates dad used to get myself and my mate a couple of free guest passes which was cool as Fitness First was the new and hottest gym in town and at the age i was at the time probably 16 or so it was the place where all the young women were going so me and my mate needed to take advantage of having the guest passes. The first thing i thought when i went in there is actually i cant say cause it invloves happy swearing so basically i thought it was great.
