Advantages: flexible, mellow edges, good graphics ect Disadvantages: NONE
...soo the burton dominant ..
LOOKS
the graphics looks sick (REALLY REALLY GOOD)
THE BOARD ITS SELF
the board is well suited to all stages of rider (ie experience wise) beginner to expert. the edges are reallly mellow so begginers will not catch edges easily also the more experienced will not catch edges doing rails (which really hurts!!!) the board is also very flexible so if you land wrong doing a trick you have a better chance of staying upright.
TYPES OF TERRAIN
the board is more suited to park/freestyle riding and also good for powder as it is flexible. you can use it on normal runs but it is not very effective as you slide round corners rather than carve due to the mellow edges!
ADVANTAGES
i leant on this board and i have turned out ok so thier must be something right on this board. flexible, mellow edges, good graphics ect...

Advantages: Great for any advanced tricks and stunts, exceptional performance, excellent design. Disadvantages: None
...advanced tricks you can try while riding the slopes, and also leaving space for more experimentation of more difficult tricks. This is idealy what a freestyle snowboard is all about.
oOoOo-Sidecut-oOoOo
The Sidecut design allows more manuvers, and flexibility while riding. It also provides more safe of an experience for beginner snowboarders. Taking it slow, that gradually bulding up to your own level of challenges is the key to mastering all the tactics of the snowboarding game. The sidecut design also adds on the the ease of turning while riding the sloped regularly. A great feature for those that love smooth sailing on the slopes.

Advantages: Good every day riding board; great value Disadvantages: Board lacks pop, it needs to be a little stiffer on the ends
...The Burton blunt is designed to be a mid-range free-stlye board which can be used for a bit of on piste riding as well.
I find the board to be a good all round performer for free-style riding and on piste especially for such a cheap board - for the price this board is remarkable. The board really should have a bit more pop in it to be classed as a good free-style board though, this is my only real issue with the board - its difficult to any real height while ollie'ing the board - its just not stiff enough
On piste the board is good, very good in-fact, better than any other free-style board I have ridden, the edge is strong and sharp enough to give you the confidence to push the board hard in turns at speed and is flexible enough to allow you to have a lot of fun on the board bending it through 180 nose turns and so on - one problem...
