...I am what you would describe as a fitness freak and have used many pieces of gym equipment. The Concept 2 Rower is bar far the most superior rower I have used. I use the Model E which is a newer version of the rower and immediately recongised by the frame being higher off the ground allowing a raised seating position which in my opinion is a far more natural and comfortable position. This rower is fitted with a performance Monitor known as PM4, simply the key pad you enter the distance/time and so forth. Being wireless enabled allows you to actually race another rower using a concept 2, as well as wireless heart rate monitoring. The rower even has a game function which allows you to actually add some enjoyment into your workout, it consists of a simple fish game where you must avoid the larger fish and eat the smaller ones... Advantages: local (to me), lots of facilities, no posers!!
Disadvantages: none that I can think of

...the weekends and school holidays the wave machine is turned on and there are two slides to choose from. One is a body slide and the other you a rubber tyre slide. The lifeguards are at helping hand to help you lift the rubber tyres onto the conveyor belt which transports the rings to the top of the slide. Opening hours during term time (off peak) vary on Monday - Friday from 3:30pm - 7pm with Early Morning Swim (pre paid) available from 7am - 9am and Lunchtime swimming Monday - Friday from12pm - 1:30 pm. Inshape Gym As I have mentioned above, the gym is very friendly, has a nice atmosphere and the staff are very helpful. The gym has over 20 cardiovascular equipment such as running machines, spinning bikes, rowing machines, and Cross-trainers. ..., because the powerball itself produces quite a noise. So even if you might like messing with these features, it might bother people around you. There also are superspecial powerballs made of steel, which are way more difficult to master as they're heavy and tricky to handle and they work on higher frequencies (500 Hz), those have their own league. You can also train legs and feet, there's a special powerball device for that, but I have no experience with that one. -Fun- Speaking about a league, this is another powerball's lure. After you will have trained a bit, you can join powerball forums and compete in all cathegories with other members, posting pictures or videos of your best results online.
