Nikon have expertise in camera manufacture and development that is not really comparable to other makes. They have developed their own metering systems and methods that others have just copied. The F80 continues this tradition and it really is a magnificent camera for both the Professional and the Non-Professional. Lets talk about ergonomics later and start with what this camera can do to take pictures - the reason for buying it! Firstly, any image quality you get from this camera is far superior to any digital camera if you are comparing two photographs taken by the same photographer, even if they are using the best digital camera available. Review of Nikon F 80

Cannot afford F100? Buy F80!!

Advantages: Pro specifications
Disadvantages: Made in Thailand!!

When I first adopt photography as a hubby I was disappointed that my camera then, which was Olympus IS21, lacks almost 85% of the specs and moves that I read about in photography books and magazines. Every time I read about a creative technique I run to my camera to apply what I have learned, but for my disappointment I was usually unable to do any of them! That was the case before my hands touched the gorgeous body of the F80! I?ve read a lot of reviews on many SLR cameras and there it was standing with pride between all of the others!! Nikon! Believe it or not the name can improve your photography! Because when you feel that your camera is the same make that the majority of professional photographers use, that will give you a big push to extend your neck with pride and to actually ?Model? great photographers in their way! It's Molly Fox's Birthday apparently!

Advantages: some of the story telling is interesting and well told.

Book Summary... During the summer whilst the successful actor Molly Fox is on holiday in New York, she loans her Dublin home to her playwright friend (and narrator) so that she might start writing her new play. It is the longest day of the year as well as it being her friend Molly?s birthday, and the playwright is finding it increasingly difficult to find her inspiration and instead turns her attention to her own life, reflecting on her past and her relationship with Molly and their mutual friend Andrew. Several questions are addressed throughout the novel through the playwrights (who is never named) reflections; how have her relationships with her friends developed over the years?
