Advantages: Cheap and very effective Disadvantages: none
...I have been searching for a cheap carp rod for a while now and thought for what money I had I would not be able to get a rod with a quality name on it like such as fox. Having brought fox products before I have never been disappointed by the quality so when I realised fox where producing such a cheap rod I felt I had to try it. To be honest it was so inexpensive that I doubted it at first when I definitely shouldn't of but now I have it I have caught many carp on it the biggest being 36lb. It handles all fish exceptionally well as absorbs most of the pressure so you don't have to. Casting wise again the rod is superb and can reach long distances without much force being applied. I believe that this rod is ideal for anybody especially if you are new to carp fishing due to the price of only £50 brand new....

Advantages: Light, strong, perfect Disadvantages: absolutely nought for my riding style
...Ok, first I should make it clear that although I'm writing an op for the Kona Manomano bike I only actually run the FRAME from the '98 Manomano bike which I picked up while working at my local mountain bike shop a couple of years ago now. The bike had been stripped down for various parts leaving the frame which I snapped up for a fair sum (£450). I now, and have been for the last 2/3 years, running it as a freeride/downhill rig and I have to say, its perfect. As I'm not one for hucking off cliffs and/or houses the 7005 ally structure is quite strong enough and the fox vanilla rear shock provides 3.5" of plush, lovely suspension even when I havent cleaned out the pivot bushings for ages and I've been riding it in British winter weather!? I run it with 5" Stratos FR4 dual-crown forks and various other dh gubbins such as MRP chain...

Advantages: A great looking shirt with good technology Disadvantages: The collar can get itchy!
...I started to support Carlisle United on Boxing Day 2005, and from that moment, I was hooked onto League football instead of Premiership football. After supporting them for a few months, towards the end of last season, I decided it was time to buy a Carlisle United shirt. I had the choice of the home shirt and the away shirt. I decided that as it would be unlikely I would go to many away games, as I live quite high in the North, away from most other football stadiums, I would buy the home shirt as I would probably only go to home games. So here is my review on the Carlisle United Home Shirt!
DESIGN
The Carlisle shirt has a very good design indeed. In fact it is a surprisingly well-designed shirt that was used when they were in the lowly League 2. I am sure that many other lower league teams do not have shirts designed as well...

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this free from Waterstones as a Uncorrected Manuscript proof to review for their website. When I first read the blurb on the back of the book, it sounded incredibly similar to "The Devil Wears Prada" and I was keen more
Harold Nicholson described 'Memoirs of a Foxhunting Man', upon its initial publication, as 'one of the greatest books of the century' - and indeed I am amazed to find that I am the first to be reviewing it, because it is, indeed, in every way, an... more
