Advantages: Takes alot of stick! Disadvantages: Not much
...A great all round speciment/coarse rod. Unlike bulky, clumsy carp rods, the Hyperloop Barbel is smooth and gentle. I have used it in many situations including light bream fishing, carp and medium/heavy river fishing aswell as light/medium float fishing. This rod has also been used for spinning, including light sea/estuery legering/floating giving great results and coping well.
It is a great all round rod that I would not be without. I am not into the small stuff (roach etc) so this rod is perfectly suited to me. It incorporates a great reel seat, providing a strong base a comfortable position. Nice big eyes on the rings give a good line feed. This rod also has a very nice through action.
It is suitable for nearly all sorts of fishing and I sincerely recommend it to anyone not wishing to fork out loads on some fancy, higher priced rod....

Advantages: Good set of weights, comes with a excercise planner Disadvantages: Badly made Locking collars
...A while back, about 1 year ago I decided to buy some York weights, 30kilos to be exact.
I got home and unpacked the weights, read the instructions on how to piece the whole lot together then started using them.
The set comes complete with:
2 Dumbell bars
2 Outer Barbell Collars
6 Vinyl Locking Dumbell collars
2 plastic Dumbell sleeves
6 x 1” Round internal Caps
2 x 4.5kg Vinyl disks
6 x 2.3kg Vinyl disks
4 x 1.1kg Vinyl disks
2 Training charts
This was all very well but the Locking collars, which were made of Vinyl were a serious design flaw, two of them broke at the nut because they were so feebly made.
Although these are very good weights, at a good price and I have been able to make good use of them that design flaw should have been considered before distribution took place.
The total cost of the weights was £19 at Argos...

Advantages: Easily accessible, friendly and a good selection of classes Disadvantages: Small and hot
...and cycling machines in it. This area is covered by a number of wall mounted screens showing music, news and comedy channels from Sky television. There are various water and Lucozade machines scattered around the gym for those that require refreshment.
Behind the array of Cardio Vascular machines is an area dedicated to resistance machines to target every major muscle group and beside this is the free weights area which is quite well equipped apart from the fact there is no rack of barbells. There is room for substitution though with the bench press barbell or the EZ curl bar.
Towards the rear of the gym there is another studio area dedicated to a class called spin which is basically a class of bikes. This area is not for the faint hearted, in fact if you wish to either take your CV to a higher level or you want to burn some fat quickly...

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this free from Waterstones as a Uncorrected Manuscript proof to review for their website. When I first read the blurb on the back of the book, it sounded incredibly similar to "The Devil Wears Prada" and I was keen more
