The Hills

Advantages: Funny, tacky
Disadvantages: None

The Hills is my guilty little pleasure. There's backstabbing, friendships, boyfriends, clubbing, making up, breaking up, in fact this programme has everything! The Hills is actually a spin-off television series from the very popular show, Laguna Beach. This show followed a bunch of high school students through their life in Laguna Beach, California, a very affluent, beautiful area right on the coast of Southern California. One of the main characters was Lauren Conrad, often referred to as LC. She, in my opinion is quite a pretty, nice mannered girl, if somewhat spoilt. She has the clothes, looks, long blond hair and drives a very nice convertible car. I do like her and I think she is quite entertaining. She often seems to have a rough ride where some of her friends are concerned but that is life, and more importantly that is life ...

Riding To The Places We Have Grown

Advantages: A mellower sound that really highlights the vocals of Stringer

Recorded just two years after the bands second album Glow, Rides is perhaps an album that should have been a lot bigger than it actually was. The Somerset 4 piece had been steadily growing in stature with their first two albums but the third album ...

Close the Stable Door

Advantages: You don't lose any real money
Disadvantages: has a limited attention span

Stable Masters is a game based around my favourite sport. In case you haven't guessed from the title and subject it 's all about Horse Racing. Well not just the racing that's a small but vital part of it. Initially you start with £50,000, from this you have to buy Racehorses. There is a vast selection to choose from from 2 year-olds upward. The object of the game is quite simple amass a fortune by training the winners of the major races. The training part of the game is perhaps the most important and time consuming part. You run horses in different lengths of race and try to figure out which distance of race best suits each horse you have purchased to train. This in itself is no mean feat. After each race a small amount of info is printed at the bottom of the screen to help you decide the best ground/tactics and distance for each ...
