The Drivetrain is all Shimano as you may expect, the surprise for a relitivly cheap bike is that it is mainly the Atlus range, with only a few components being from the Acera range.
There are 24 gears, which sounds a lot but if you use the bike on road as well ... ...The bike came with RST forks, 381 CL. These suspension forks are very good and far better the the usual budget faire such as Chilli works etc.
I would recomend this bike to anyone. Migrating from a 10year old Universal MTB to this has been a delight. ...

The GT outpost
I like this this bike and so do my mates. I've owned one for 3 years now so I now what it's all about.
Now if your a beginer this just mite be the frame for you it is well light plus strong and like all GT's you can trust it.
I say a 14 inch frame would be a good idea because it alows you to do trials,jumping and showing of. You will need forks I say about 85mm or just a pair of light ridged forks
or just use anything.

We currently run an 80 user network in our office. While the main traffic of our network is handled by 6, 24 port rack mounted switches, my little IT office has 7 PCs in it with not enough ports on the wall to connect them up.
