...I ALSO HAVE A GT AGGRESSOR AND I MUST AGREE . IT IS VERY STRONG AND TAKES THE ROUGH TERRIAN VERY WELL .THE GT TRIPLE TRIANGEL IS THE BEST DESIGN HARD TAIL MOUNTINE BIKE IVE RIDDEN. THE COST OFF THE FRAME IS TOO THE HIGHER END OFF THE BUDGET MARKET, THAY ARE NORMALY TOO TONED MINE IS SKY BLUE AND WHITE IT CAME WITH AHEAD HEADSET AND FRAME SAVER, IT WILL BE UP GRADED FROM STANDERD SHOCKS ,origanels are not sutble for my type off rideing, I WILL FIT A SET OF ROCK SHOCK PYSLOS AND WIDER TYERS. I HAVE RIDDEN THE GT KRAKARAM, MY GT IS SLIGHTLEY LIGHTER IT MAKES UP HILLS A LOT FASTER AND DOWN HILL A LOT MY ENJOYABLE AS IM CONFIDENT IN THE BIKES HANDLING AND STRENGH HOP E THATS HELPED... Advantages: Aluminium Frame, Good gear set, looks ace!
Disadvantages: no rear suspension

...This bike has got fantastic geometry and is therefor a very comfortable ride. The tripple triange frame is very solid and the bike goes where you point it. When i bought the bike it came with 27 gears, cable disc brakes,(which will soon be upgraded), and some decent shocks. So far i love it!! the bike looks ace too. What a visually pleaseing piece of design. Great bike to upgrade. Starting components are reasonable as u get what u pay for, in this case a great frame and some slightly shady parts. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the components if u r an occasional MTBer but if u go offroad lots you'll need stronger components which can handle rougher stuff than the RST's it comes with as standard.... ...I bought a GT avalanche over a year and a half ago and I can easily say it is a great bike I do a lot of cross country mountian biking and the bike is great for the up hills and downhills. The frame is light and strong and is great value for money. The brakes are hydrolic so there is a lot of stopping power and for a bike at this price it is a bargin. The gears work great there are 27 in total and the shimano deore is a great rear mech. The rock shock forks on this bike are study and absorb the bumps allowing for nice following ride. they are 100 mm and there is a lock out feature. After over a year of heavy usage this bike has had little in the way of faults so is well worth the money.... Read review
