...With Christmas fast approaching, I have been busily collecting together all of Harry's presents from Father Christmas so I didn't have to make a mad rush of it throughout December, and I think I am finally done! He keeps telling me Father Christmas is coming, and loves reading all sorts of Christmas books with me, and I love how much my little boy is really getting into the festive season with me and his daddy. I wanted to get him something special that he could have for Christmas and be able to use in years to come, and that's when I thought of a stocking. Advantages: Easy to use, does what it's suppsed to do!

After extensive researching, price comparison and review reading, I came across the Garmin Nuvi 200w, and a sat nav system that seemed to impress greatly, so i decided to take the plunge and bought one. Much like many of the reviews I had read on the Nuvi 200w, my first impressions of it were very good. I bought the system off the Littlewoods website, as it had been reduced in a seasonal sale that they were having. This meant that the system was on offer for around £30 less than on any other reputable site that I could find it on. The product was well packaged, securely and compactly fitted to an inner cardboard shelf, that meant that the sat nav was unable to move or rattle within the box, therefor limiting the chance of damage during postal delivery to a minimum. Advantages: Not as annoying as I thought

...Why I Bought It I finally gave in a traded my AA route finder notes (which always got me from A to B) for a Garmin nuvi 1340. I have to admit that these things annoy me so much, shouting directions at you every 5 seconds, but I thought I ought to at least try to get with the 21st century, plus everyone I know as one, so they can?t be that bad can they? I managed to pick mine up for £139 from Pixmania, which was a bargain, as I?d seen one in my local Halford store whilst shopping for oil again! (but that?s another story) for £179! Just proving its worth shopping around. Being a girlie the first thing that attracted me to this was its slender build (I know I know!). Its only 15mm thick and therefore isn?t too bulky to pop into the handbag when I?ve arrived at my destination and its quite light too ? double bonus. The 1340 model... Read review
