Advantages: Light, nice ride, good brakes Disadvantages: Chain should have shield, brakes bit squeeky, only availible from halfords
I brought this as my last bike, a saracen, died on me, it was really in a terrible mess! I brought this for £400 in Halfords, which is a pretty good deal for what you get. The technician was very helpful in there, otherwise I probably would have brought a bike from a Local Bike Store.
So, what do you get for your £400 here? Well, a light and strong bike, with hyrdaulics, 24 gears, thick tyres, nice wheels with strong spokes.
"GT Triple Triangle Aluminium frame with butted tubes
Suntour XCR 100mm travel fork with hydraulic rebound damping and on the fly lock-out
Tektro Auriga Comp hydraulic disc brakes 180/160mm rotors
Shimano Deore/ Alivio 24 speed gearing
Truvativ Isoflow chainset
Tioga Factory XC tyres
WTB SX24 rims
SDG Bel Air saddle
GT over size bar and stem"
All in all, a good bike for you money. So far, been so good ...

Argos releases a new catalogue about 3 times a year, which if you didn't know is free to take from any store!
The idea behind argos is that the customer goes home and chooses what they want to buy. They then come into store where there are more catalogues places around the shop floor, this ...

i enjoy shoppig at argos and have done for many years but recently ive found that the check out girls are not as friendly when it comes to the fact that ive ordered online
Only to be told instore that i should ring to ensure that the product is there , twice ive found after ordering online then going to the store has the item not been in stock and i would either have to wait or to go to another store 15 miles away!
It has not put me off shopping there but has stopped me ordering online before picking up from the store.
I used to find ordering online simple effective and a lot easier if i was buying large items , When buying from the online line store in your area please do ring the storee before you set of as even though they have a store checker online to see if they have the stock, it seems that in my experiance it is not ...
