...Well, it is December, so I will write a review about a - TENT!
The Gelert Eiger 3 is a three man budget tent, designed for weekend use or backpacking. It is actually only made to last between two and three seasons, but of course it depends on how you use and abuse it.
The bag - this is made from the same material as the tent, and measures just 16 x 53 centimeters. It weighs four & a half Kilos, and can be worn on the back like a rucksack.
Inside the bag, you will find fibreglass poles with elastic inside, these are "idiot proof" so they are easy to assemble. You will also see the tent itself, consisting of a flysheet, an inner tent with integral groundsheet, and 18 metal tent pegs. Sewn into the bag, is an instruction sheet printed on material, this is a good idea as you can not lose it. The instructions are well written...

...During the past ten years or so i have used a number of tents for a variety of different occasions, and i have to say, so far out of all of them, this Gelert Rocky 4 is the best of them by far.
Gelert is one of the countries biggest family camping brands, and now has 30 years of experience in producing quality camping equipment. Gelert believes that being based in the heart of snowdonia, helps them to put their experiences into creating better equipment for the likes of you and I.
On the Gelert website, and also everywhere i have looked ( and where i got mine from) the price of this tent is £44.99. For a four man tent, whihc holds a decent manufacturer name on the front, this is quite a reasonable price. The Cambridge Belfry used to be owned by Marston but now it is Q and is there any difference? Well not much but some things were worse. Not quite in the league of fawlty towers but try having a hot shower! Well you can but only in the leisure area not... more
This DVD is outstanding. Originally a four-part BBC drama, it is a four hour set but nicely split up into four chunks of about 1 hour each.
