I currently ride a Giant SCR 2.0 and have found it to be a very reasonable bike. The relaxed sizing offers a very comfortable ride for commuting of casual trips, whiles the decent ... ...up to long hours on the road, and even carrying a loaded rack.
The frame feels very solid and the carbon fibre forks mean that you do feel like all the effort you put in is transferred directly to the forwards motion of the bike!
I would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a versatile road bike that can be used for the odd race, but as the same time a practical every day sort of bike!

The 2.0 model features Shimano Tiagra components throughout, which are very good quality pieces of kit and I have not had a single fault yet! One thing I would mention is that it might be a good idea to upgrade the wheels for a slightly heavier rider, or if you are considering carrying a lot of gear, although this is not necessary and I would advise anyone on a budget to run the supplied wheels into the ground first!!
I would strongly recommend asking around regarding a 2008 SCR bike rather than considering the lower end 2009 models!
